Linux-Days in Chemnitz 2011: A successful community meeting

Linux-Days in Chemnitz 2011 were a great success again. The extended course of lectures and varied presentations at the individual boots were visited very well.
We thank to all visitors at our boot for discussions and suggestions related to our solutions as KIXbox and KIX4OTRS as well as products of our partners like Zarafa and Univention Corporate Server. We were happy with the high involvement within the lectures related to the Open Source Service Management.
Furthermore, we got a superlative feedback within the workshops we organized in accordance to the OTRS Community Meeting (OCM). These workshops were about OTRS administration and programming. We used the opportunity to establish a good relationship with the new founded OTRS-Community-Board (A. Bauer, A.Halle, D.Obee), and to improve the cooperation with the Community Manager of the OTRS AG, S. Beasley, and the OTRS-founder and co-founder of the OTRS AG, M. Edenhofer. Together, we talked about the future aspects of cooperation. The culmination of the OCM was the celebration of the 9th birthday of OTRS (OTRS9.org) at the project boot at the 19th March.
