Chemnitz Linux Days

Review

We enjoy visiting the Chemnitz Linux Days, as they are the largest community event in the German-speaking world and take place in our home town of Chemnitz. The venue for the event, the Orangery of the Chemnitz University of Technology, exudes its university charm and attracts a wide-ranging audience, including business people, people with technical interests and students.

This year, our stand was all about our new KIX and KIX Professional service desk software. There were many questions and lively discussions. Since the visitors were mostly technically savvy, the questions were primarily related to the technical background of the software. Practical applications and references for our product were almost an afterthought, but the practical examples were certainly well received by the visitors to the stand.

The presentation by Rico Barth, Managing Director and co-owner of c.a.p.e. IT, also dealt with our new software and was very well attended. Questions about the presentation covered a wide field – from technical/qualitative to economical and through to philosophical. A fitting tribute to the academic venue.

We would like to thank all visitors who took the time to see us and are looking forward to see you again next year.
