c.a.p.e. IT makes medium-sized businesses fit for industry 4.0

Chemnitz, 18/04/2018 In accordance with the motto for this year's hannover messe - "Integrated Industry - Connect & Collaborate" this year, c.a.p.e IT is presenting KIX Professional MRO, the product that made the company winner of the 2017 IT innovation prize in the opensource category.

KIX Professional MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) is software that perfects order management in maintainance and helps IT and industry to grow even close togehter to fulfil the requirements of industry 4.0. Extensivly configurable, open and versatile in integration, the software makes the proactive maintenance of individual machines and even entire systems possible.

This innovative software makes complex processes visually manageable. Rico Barth, managing director if software supplier c.a.p.e. IT: "The system fulfils the requirements facing a demanding service environment and provides everything that is used in today's highly technical industry to provide proactive maintenance - from a maintenance planner and route management to the recording of service contracts.

The chemnitz company is also showing the prototypes of a user-centered image-led app for providing in situ support for service engineers eliminating faults, as well as a tablet specially developed for the industry for ergonomic handling by the service maintenance engineer. C.a.p.e. IT is working in this field alongside the institute of work science and innovation management at the chemnitz unversity of technology. Both can be thoroughly tested at the hannover messe.

In 2018 c.a.p.e. IT GmbH will once again be sharing a stand with nowisys IT-Service GmbH. Both companies develop open source software out of a sense of conviction and have acquired a unique selling propostion throughout saxony as a result. Their solutions ensure that the industrial digitalisation of saxony's medium-sized manufactoring companies can progress in the context of industry 4.0. Nowisys is presenting it's new version of openhamster, the open source data collector and analysis system, at hannover messe 2018.
